Anglers raising money for local causes
Once a year the society fishes through the night, and every penny raised goes to charities on our own doorstep.
The 24 hour charity match
One weekend a year, the lakes fill up and the money goes out.
The annual twenty-four hour charity match is the biggest social event in the society's calendar. Members and their guests fish through the night across several of our waters. Entry fees, raffle tickets and donations all go to the causes chosen for that season.
Alongside it sit the memorial matches — events fished in memory of members the club has lost, which have become fixtures in their own right.
